Don’t waste time and money on the wrong path. Discover clarity on your direction.

Choosing the wrong path

Choosing the wrong major or career path can cost years of time and thousands of dollars—but career uncertainty doesn’t end after graduation. Many capable people—both students and working professionals—feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their direction, even when they are bright and motivated.

  • One in three college students changes their major at least once

  • About half of graduates work in jobs directly related to what they studied.

  • Many students delay graduation, increasing the cost of their education.

This pattern often continues into adulthood.

  • Fewer than half of U.S. workers report being satisfied in their jobs

  • A majority of employees report feeling disengaged or unfulfilled at work

  • Many adults consider changing careers, often without a clear sense of direction

Together, these trends highlight how common—and costly—career uncertainty can be without clear direction. Whether you are choosing a path for the first time or reconsidering one you’ve been on for years, gaining clarity about your interests, strengths, and direction can make a meaningful difference.
